  • Saint Ann School understands the importance to strong academics.  The faculty also understands the importance of a strong school culture and community.  Saint Ann School works hard to ensure students enjoy learning and build lasting relationships at Saint Ann School.  Relationships that many maintain well beyond 8th grade graduation.

One way Saint Ann School works to build community is through the events conducted at school.

    • Fun Friday- Once a month students have the opportunity to buy concessions and enjoy an afternoon of extra recess.
    • Birthday Celebrations- Once a month students with a birthday that month get an out of uniform day and ice cream at lunch.
    • New Family Social- Each July families new to SAS are invited to a social to meet and begin building connections.  All new families are partnered with a mentor family.  The mentor family also attends the new family social.
    • Welcome Back Picnic- The Thursday prior to school beginning in August all SAS families are invited to campus for a community picnic.  Families are able to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and enjoy the evening as a community.
    •  Fall Fest- Each October Home and School hosts a day of fun the entire SAS Community.  This Saturday is full of carnival games, train rides, great food, and much more.
    • Boo Fest/Trunk or Treat-  Usually the Friday before Halloween students engage in a Fall scavenger hunt around campus, a candy guessing jar, fall based learning activities, and PK-K have the opportunity to trick or treat with the 7th and 8th graders.
    • Breakfast with Santa- Every December the Knights of Columbus host a Breakfast with Santa one Sunday morning.  Students have the opportunity to visit with Santa, eat with family and friends, and visit St. Nick's Market to purchase Christmas presents for their loved ones.
    • Christmas Program- Each Christmas our music teacher puts together a beautiful Christmas program for the entire SAS community.  The event highlights the amazing work happening in our music program each year.
    • Christmas Carols- The Friday before Christmas break the entire student body gathers in the school gym for the final 30 minutes of school to sing Christmas carols together.  It is a great way to kickoff our Christmas break.
    • Catholic Schools Week (CSW)- CSW is a big week at Saint Ann School.  Students celebrate with buddy bingo, annual variety show/potluck, community lunch, and ends the week with a day of prayer in our SAS Faith Rally.
    • Boosterthon- The Friday before Spring Break students raise pledges to participate in a fun run.  PK-4th grade enjoy a fun run at Richland Park and grades 5th-8th grade run in a color run.  This event is kicked off two weeks earlier with a pep rally and concludes with the race.
    • Easter Egg Hunt- Each Easter season the Knights of Columbus hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for students in PK-4th grade.  The events is typicaly held the weekend before Easter.
    • Field Day- Each May the entire school participates in various events around campus for our SAS field day.  Every year has a differnt theme and the day is lead by our PE teacher and 8th grade class.
