Rules and Consequences
These rules aren’t new. In fact, the
whole school follows them. Here goes:

Follow directions the first time
given.

Stay in your seat to work.
-
Raise hand before speaking.
-
Keep hands, feet, and objects to
yourself.
-
Be kind and respectful at all times.
We also recite the Values Code in the
morning. This is a list of 13 important values that we strive to have. They
are as follows:

Honesty.
I will be an honest person.
-
Respect.
I am respectful of others.
-
Responsibility.
I take responsibility for what I am supposed to do.
-
Self Control.
I will control my actions and words.
-
Hard Work.
I take pride in being a hard worker.
-
Self Respect.
I have self respect.
-
Concern for Others.
I will show concern for all other people.
-
Tolerance.
I am tolerant of others.
-
Cooperation.
I will cooperate with those around me.
-
Fairness.
I show fairness to all I come in contact with.
-
Forgiveness.
I can forgive those who do me wrong.
-
Courage.
I will be brave in facing life’s challenges.
-
Self Knowledge.
I will pursue knowledge of myself.
It the above rules and values are not
followed, here are the consequences:
-
First verbal reminder given.
-
Second verbal reminder given.
-
Time out in classroom and conference
with teacher.
-
Behavior Notice is filled out and
sent home to be signed by parent. (If more than 3 notices are sent home in
one quarter, an Individual Behavior Plan will be set up between teacher and
parent.)
-
If unacceptable behavior continues, a
conference will be scheduled between parent, teacher, principal, and
counselor.
-
If the problem continues, the student
will be suspended for two days.
