Homework: 

Students will usually receive a math practice sheet for homework on Mondays-Thursdays.  On Fridays, students will get their Friday Packet which consists of their spelling assignments and Daily Reading Log.  The Friday Packet is to be turned in the following Friday, and the students should be ready for the weekly spelling test.  Friday Packets should be completed in order to participate in Friday Fun Day.  As soon as I figure out how to work the school website, I will post the Friday Packet on the webpage in case yours somehow gets lost during the week.

It is my expectation that homework (outside of the Daily Reading Log) should take about 30 minutes to do.  Of course, this varies by assignment and by each individual student.  Please go over all assignments with students, but do not do the work for them.  I want to know that my students are grasping the concepts, not that the parents and older siblings are!
