Welcome to Mrs. Wilson's Kindergarten Class!

Congratulations on choosing St. Ann School to begin your child's school career.  Your child will develop academically, socially and spiritually.  I believe you will find St. Ann to be a caring, happy, family environment, where your child will learn and grow.  We follow the Nashville Diocesan Curriculum, which encompasses both national and state standards.  Kindergarten is a self contained classroom with the exception of classes in Art, Music, Drama, Health and Fitness, Library, and Spanish.   You can find a weekly review of classroom academics and events, by following the Weekly Newsletter link.  Please browse the School Website to get a fuller picture of St. Ann life.

Classroom Rules

Kindergarten Rules coordinate with rules for grades k-4.  Teachers in Library, Music, Spanish, Art, Health & Fitness, and Drama, all use the same rules and consequences.  This maintains consistency throughout each day. Kindergartners thrive on consistent expectations and routines.  Much time is spent at the beginning of the year, ensuring that students understand all rules and expectations. 

1. Follow the teacher's directions
2. Stay seated while working
3. Be quiet when others are speaking
4. Keep hands, feet, and all objects to yourself
5. Be kind and respectful at all times
